A Navy Lakehurst engineer creates a novel new device that could change the way fire fighters do their job.
Joe Wolfe's fine mist water nozzle uses less pressure and water but provides the same fire extinguishing abilities as a traditional unit. Maybe even better in some ways...
Wolfe says there has been commercial interest in the nozzle for acoustic noise reduction, painting applications and even the cleaning industry.
