Tuckerton Moves Forward On Dredging

Tuckerton moves forward with plans to get the Thompson's Creek dredged.
According to published reports, the Borough Council recently passed a resolution authorizing funding of a creek survey. Township officials were also given a deadline of April 10th to submit an application to the state for a lagoon-opening grant. State DEP officials have given no time frame for the project but they say it will cost an estimated $600-thousand dollars.
