Man Drifts Into Utility Pole While Using Cell Phone



A classic example of the dangers of using cell phones while driving. 

Toms River police say  a township man reaching for his cell phone crossed into on coming traffic on Whiteville Road and then slammed into a utility poll Monday afternoon.  Police chief Mike Mastronardy says 49-year-old Reginald Jackson just took his eyes off the road for a second to answer his phone when the accident occured.  He was uninjured.
