Ocean County Cuts Overtime



In an effort to reduce expenses in Ocean County, overtime has been trimmed by 27 percent.

According to reports, overtime pay last year was $4.9 million dollars, a significant drop from $6.7 million paid the year before. And now that there's a tax increase this year, Freeholders are hoping to curtail it even more.
