Red Light Cameras Find Success In Brick

Red light cameras have been up at the intersection of Brick Boulevard and Chambers Bridge Road for a few weeks.

Police Captain John Rein says things have been running smoothly so far. Rein says the cameras have also assisted some officers during accident investigations in determining who was at fault. A second set of cameras, located at Route 70 and Chambers Bridge, should be operational soon pending Department Of Transportation approval.

So far police have issued 238 citations.
