A Stafford man who swindled over $800,000 from 25 people gets eight years in prison.
39 year-old Thomas Marchetti pleaded guilty in December to theft by deception, admitting he falsely told the 25 he could get them discounts at government auctions. None of the victims got any of the items or their money back. Marchetti gambled away most of the money he stole in Atlantic City
