First Responders Search for Teen That Jumped From a Lacey Bridge


A 17-year-old Brick Township male teenager is taken to Community Medical Center for evaluation after jumping off the Beach Boulevard Bridge in Lacey Township Wednesday night. Mayor Steve Acropolis and Township Police pulled the covers off the traffic-control systems this morning on Brick Boulevard and Chambers Bridge Road.

Four cameras are mounted  at each traffic signal. Acropolis says it's not costing taxpayers anything.

The cameras will officially be turned on at midnight tonight

The search is in on in Barnegat for a man in his twenties using counterfeit $100 dollar bills at area stores.

Road Improvements Coming To Shore


Some roads around Ocean and Monmouth County are about to get a whole lot smoother.

The State Transportation Planning Authority is placing several highways in a project pool for federal funding. Some include sections of Route 9 in Stafford,  part of Route 70 in Lakewood and Brick as well as various spots in Colts Neck.
